La avena cruda es el cereal que aporta más fibra y proteínas, además de minerales y vitaminas. Es reconstituyente y es un alimento recomendado para todos. Les comparto esta receta que hago regularmente, super saludable y llenadora, perfecta para el desayuno. Le puedes agregar las frutas que quieras, la leche que quieras yo uso leches. ingredientes: 1 vaso de vidrio con tapa avena cruda en hojuelas frutas semillas Chia un poquito de miel leche de avena ( yo misma la hago) o agua En el vaso de vidrio pon la avena, agrega la leche hasta que cubra la avena, luego las frutas, las semillas de chia, la miel y todo aquello con lo que quieras variar ( hasta yogurt griego le puedes poner). Revuelve, ponle la tapa y metelo en el refrigerador por lo menos 4 horas. Yo lo hago la noche anterior y en la mañana lo saco media hora antes de desayunar para que este a temperatura ambiente. Listo!!

Baking really is not my 'thing' but I gave it a good crack today - oat biscuits! On the left I didn't particularly stray from the recipe aside from using wholemeal flour and using rolled oats instead of oat bran. On the right - I added flaxseed meal, used coconut sugar instead of white sugar and added a touch of golden syrup (and of course used wholemeal flour). I must say that I am quite pleased with the results 😊 Such a great snack or on-the-go breakfast biscuit. I'm not a breakfast person so I think these will work great for me. *Edit- the original recipe is from the Friendly Food book written by the allergy experts at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Allergy Unit. Sunday night is generally fridge clear out night at our place. So stir frys, stews etc but tonight we had tacos!! This whole meal only took 30 minutes to come together and is gluten and nut free, there is @mylifebio cheese and @nudiejuice coconut yoghurt for me and my little guy. Cod with tomato, garlic, fennel and tarragon. Even on hot days, I don't always feel like eating salad. But I usually feel like something lighter. Like fish. Cod is a beautiful, firm and mild tasting fish. It's not normally very cheap but @aldiaustralia have them on special in their freezer section for $15/kg and they are sustainably farmed. Before buying cod (and any other fish), please make sure they are sustainably caught/farmed. Cod in particular is known for being overfished because it's so popular. This dish is quick, easy, all in one pot, no mucking around. And my toddlers GOBBLED it up! 🐠finely chop 1 large onion and a head of garlic and fry in a tbsp of coconut oil in a heavy based pan on medium heat. 🐠add 2 tsp of fennel seeds, 2 tsp of dried tarragon and 2 bay leaves and stir till fennel starts popping and onions are cooked 🐠add 2 cans of whole tomatoes and roughly break up with your wooden spoon in the pan 🐠add 2 tsp of stock powder (veg, chicken or fish) 🐠 add your 1kg of cod fillets (skin off) which has been defrosted and cubed into large chunks and bring to the boil before lowering the heat and simmering with lid on for 10 mins till fish is cooked through 🐠add 1 cup of frozen peas and simmer for a further 5 mins 🐠season with salt and pepper before serving on rice, quinoa or cous cous. #the_handless_cook #instafood #homecooking #fish #cod #sustainablefood #cleaneating #paleo #pescatarian #healthyfood #nutritiousanddelicious #clearskin #glutenfree #allergyfriendly #guthealth #healyourgut
