"Get me mommy...get me!" Our morning walk turned into a morning jog...that little 2 year old ran almost an entire MILE!!! Some quick yoga before the gremlins wake up and the madness begins 😝 regularly I CHOOSE to start my day off on a good note - which for me is quiet yoga and a cup of coffee chased with a bottle of water haha there are plenty of mornings I wake up late, or get distracted, or honestly am just not up to it, and getting started is the hardest part. Every day I wake up looking forward to this amazing shake. Not only has it been my go to as I'm horrible at getting breakfast in, but it tastes delicious and has helped me curb my daily/nightly cravings. 🙌🏼💚 As a mom on the go, I gotta love the simple things that keep me healthy and fuel my body with tons of vitamins and nutrients it needs. No this is not a meal replacement, not a supplement... just a simple dense nutrition I add to my daily routine. Sometimes it's breakfast, sometimes a snack, sometimes dessert... it's whatever I want it to be!

Latter half of my workout from this afternoon/early evening. Seen as though the baby only has 2 teeth and is teething her "bite" was more of an open mouth kiss, so much more funny than anything else 😝 again sorry for the lighting and focusing issues 😐 I can say, this morning I really truly wanted to do exactly nothing! Between my husband yesterday, and both girls being up and down all night (no naps all day playing with Papa, which is normal for the toddler cause she has too much fun and knows how to convince Papa "no nap", and the baby's entire upper gum line is crazy swollen so probably didn't nap cause she was hurting ☹️) and making sure ice and pain meds happened for my man I had a huge headache and my eyes actually hurt this morning. And then the toddler woke up...so what did I do? I asked the toddler if she wanted to do yoga with mommy, and when she answered "um, YEA!" I had no choice. So while she got the mats, I changed and off we started. Asking her if she wanted to do yoga was the best thing i could've done this morning. Once yoga was done I felt so much better. My headache was gone and my eyes had settled. Moral of the story you ask/what the heck is my point? Just start! Starting is the hardest part, I fully admit that and know that, but once you do you WILL feel better. I don't have some magical motivation button, I wish I did, but I have two breathtaking sets of eyes that watch me and imitate me. As much as I would love to say working out is just for me and it's my secret pleasure, it's not: being the role model I want my girls to look up to is. Wanting to continually encourage my husband to take the time to take care of himself too is another. Don't get me wrong, I do workout for me, but that's only a small reason-sometimes it's the reason I get started, sometimes it's the reason I finish off the day with a short workout, but it's never the sole reason. So, last point for now...find YOUR reason. Write it down, put it in your phone, write it on your mirror with dry erase marker...write it down and read it and let it actually motivate you. So what is/are YOUR reason(s)??

So the husband is convalescing on the couch watching tv (he had surgery yesterday) and wanted to see his daughter do some yoga with mommy.
